I Felt Like Writing at 3 AM. So Here It Is
TOTAL RANDOMNESS. INTO THE LIFE OF A 15-YEAR-OLD YOU GO.
I don’t know why, or if, I should be writing this piece in the first place. But if I’ll ever publish it, it’s going to be before I go to the bed. Or it’s going to the trash.
I’m not feeling sleepy, like NOT AT ALL. Yes, it’s 3 in the morning and I was done with the first draft of this other article that’s essentially the summary of a video I loved watching on YouTube. (I’ll hyperlink that when it’s published.)
I could have edited that. But I didn’t feel like doing it.
I’m not feeling any sleepy because I think I’ve slept enough already plus there’s no classes today. (Do they give holidays on Valentine’s Day? It’s weird—)
Before jumping onto writing this piece, I was watching Netflix. Two episodes of The Bold Type and one of Brooklyn Nine-Nine later, here I am, writing this…
(I can’t think of anything to write and this blinking cursor is so annoying.)
I said it differently last time…oops, sorry!
Ironically, I just published an article the other day about how it’s easy to write and complete your articles in shifts, as opposed to doing it all in one go.
But I do think that some articles are meant to be finished in a single sitting or they take ages to get done with and published them. If ever.
At that moment particular moment of writing, you’ve the courage to spill out the words on paper, you’re in mood of writing that piece, and everything seems to fall in place until…hey,
a distraction.Of any sorts—
It’s annoying and attractive at the same time. Like a magnet and you’re a piece of iron...
And then, you leave writing that article midway. But it was meant to be written in one go. And maybe that article never got published to date.
Has anything like that happened to you???
Me? Yes. It has.
So now I try to think more subjectively on this “writing in a go or taking it slow” topic taking into consideration many smaller nuances that lie within it. Like this piece: If I don’t complete it now, I highly doubt I’ll ever publish it.
Oh, that was indeed a long lecture for a 3 AM class, wasn’t it? (haha!)
Now onto some book stuffs
I am reading Harry Potter and The Diary of a Young Girl. Every now and then I’m also turning pages of Tools Of Titans by Tim Ferriss. It’s a beast of a book.
Okay, okay, okay. Before you come at me, yes, I haven’t read Harry Potter and I’m not re-reading it. Oops (again!)
I’ve watched all the movies like a zillion times… but hell, I’d completely missed the books. But NO MORE.
As I’ve already said earlier, it’s a fantastic read and is in a steady progress.
I’ll definitely write about it when I’m done :) What are you upto???
The Mirror Cube
It looked sexy.
And I thought being able to solve it would definitely make me look a little smarter. (Ah, the teenage thing! LOL)
So, boom, purchased.
And thanks to one of my friends, I learnt that solving it was no different than solving a 3x3x3 Rubik’s cube that I already know.
We (one of my other friends, not the one above) purchased the combo pack of two cubes and he took the Rubik’s cube as he liked that more.
Present situation: I solve two layers of this mirror cube with all the ease in the world…just a little more effort is needed in the last layer part.
I’ve also have to take 2nd dose of vaccine tomo… I mean today
Gosh, it’s already ‘today’!
Talking about the last time, it was all easy and I didn’t feel any body fever or pain as such.
As there’s no classes today, we all (three friends of mine and me) decided to take our second dose of vaccine today.
What a coincidence: Second dose of vaccine on Valentine’s Day. Ugggghhh!
Looks like it’s another singles thing.
Anyways, it’s as important. *Silence*
